Only 1 episode remaining until our big 50, and for this week we decided to go “down unda” to “Ozzieland” for our special guest, the one and only Marcus Santoro!
Marcus has been shaking up the business for almost a decade now. The Melbourne native had a humble beginning, with his debut single I’ll Never Forget on Effectz Recordings back in 2011. He kept on working, always with the aim of something bigger in mind, which came in 2014 with All The Way, a progressive house anthem that saw him work with The Potbelleez and that would define Marcus’s melodic and energetic sound for the next years. 2015 saw him get called up to the big leagues, with two back-2-back releases on Revealed Recordings, one of which a remix of Sick Individuals’s iconic Lost & Found.
Over the following years, Marcus released on labels such as Enhanced Recordings (and its sublabels), Armada, Garuda, Protocol, Virgin, and most recently, Axtone – a home in which he had already been a couple of times prior. Nowadays, Marcus’ sound has shifted, and his music can be described as eclectic, captivating and innovative, constantly breaking boundaries wherever he goes. So, when the opportunity of having Marcus Santoro on our Future Connection radioshow, we couldn’t say “no”!
Marcus certainly rocked the airwaves and delivered everything we expected from him, setting the grounds perfectly for our celebratory 50th episode! Check out Ep.49 of Future Connection below, as well as Marcus latest remix of Fangoria’s De Todo Y De Nada!
