Lately we’ve been seeing a few upcoming producers share their versions of well known pop songs, and this is another good attempt at reinventing one, with Thom Hartz giving a twist to Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding.
The intro keeps the original vocals with a piano background and light percussion, contributing for a soothing environment. The claps then raise the intensity, leading us through a build up that has a catchy melody mid way through. The climax continues with this catchiness and presents us a reasonably punchy kick with a well rounded bass supporting it. The idea behind this track was good, and the original vocals fuse well with the usual Hardstyle tempo. We just wish the track was a bit longer!
Although a newcomer in the scene, Thom Hartz is no stranger to stages, having had a huge opportunity to show his worth, together with his fellow producer Toxicfever, at an In Dust party, (opening the night that would host Sei2ure and eDUB on a b2b set) with a performance focused on the rawest edge of Hardstyle and a bit of Hardcore.
Be sure to keep an eye on this young man through his socials, hopefully he’ll help push forward the Hardstyle scene in his home country!
