We think it’s safe to say that Belgium has got some of the greatest talent out there as Hooders & Jay Dunham release their collaborative EP “Shady Business” on none other than Tchami’s very own label, Confession!
Having recently released “Good Enough” as a self-release, Hooders return this time with two rather dark productions. “Work That” and “Bankroll” are the two tracks released and gather around because we’re going in for a dive.
“Work That” welcomes the listener to a deep and heavy state of mind. The catchy vocals are key to growth of the track and the devastating bassline is exactly what we would expect from this duo. Working as a perfect mainstage banger, you can count on this one to be on all the artist’s sets from here on forward.
Though the vocals on “Bankroll” are not as bouncy nor catchy, this one gains terrain especially through the melody and the mind-blowing kick it brings to the table.
Jay Dunham’s mesmerizing ability to create bassline melodies and his stunning sounds are also very present on both tracks. This EP is the sheer example of how a collab should sound like as you can definitely tell apart each artist’s flair on them.
Jay Dunham was one of our starting guests for our Future Connection Radioshow and has been sharing his sounds quite often in Japan, a country that never ceases to show their love for Bass House.
This is a beautiful work of art and rightfully so, as it has seen its release on Confession. These young talents prove once again that they are some of the most talented artist’s out there. So, what are you waiting for? Here is “Shady Business” by Jay Dunham & Hooders!
