We were first introduced to i_o’s music last year, when his darkness hit Mau5trap.

At that time there was not much information about this mysterious producer, but since we heard his EP Rootkit, we knew that i_o was an artist that would make a difference.

From progressive house to techno, he sure knows how to master each genre as well create his own identity and genre.

As we mentioned, the Mau5trap signed artist, mixed Eric Prydz’s “Generate” and Deadmau5’s “Monophobia”, followed by a techno drop showing that even what is thought to be something almost impossible and wouldn’t work together, he made it seem easy.

In the beginning of this year, Mau5trap teased a new collaboration between i_o and Tommy Trash.

“Let Me Go” received a lot of hype since it was Tommy Trash track in a while.

But when you start hearing this track with Daisy Guttridge vocals, and the chord progression you feel like entering a new dimension where everything aligns.

A few months ago, i_o posted a video on his socials of a remix of an Above & Beyond classic “Alchemy”. Those heartfelt vocals resonate followed by a dark and gridding techno beat. The trance legends couldn’t remain indifferent to his talented and the mix is part of Anjunabeats Volume 14.

It sure was a colossal grow since the last year. i_o has already played at Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, Paradiso, Beyond Wonderland and had sold out shows.

He has posted in one of his Instagram captions: “Techno was born in the United States. Techno grew up in Europe. It’s time to bring techno home” and he clearly has the talent for that.

In addition, he released this year, his EP Death by Techno and just by the name we don’t have to explain what you can expect from that EP.

We certainly will follow the techno demon career closely.

What about you? Will you join his techno demons?
