British DJ/Producer Tom Staar is back with another new track, showing off his typical sound and keeping the good vibes going.
What else can be said about Tom Staar? We’ve mentioned him before on our website, but his steady flow of quality releases will most likely leave us at a loss for words at this rate. The Groove Master has been on the scene for 10 years, and boy have they been worth it. From releasing tracks on labels like Armada, Size, Axtone, mau5trap, Musical Freedom, DOORN Records, etc; to collaborating with big players like Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Eddie Thoneick, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and most recently David Guetta, the list of achievements goes on and on.
Tom has an innate talent to leave his fans speechless with his perspective on music and ability to make incredible house-y and Groove-y beats. Following a massive release with David Guetta called “This Ain’t Techno” – which gathered over 3 Million Spotify plays (at the time of writing this article) – and an oficial remix for David Guetta’s comercial hit “Say My Name” feat Bebe Rexha and J Balvin, Tom Staar returns to Spinnin Records with a new track entitled “East Soul”.
The track, a collaboration with newcomer Trace, is everything we expect from Tom Staar. It starts out with ethnic sounds and open hi hats, which quickly introduce us to rising melodic synths and a vocal. The build up is textbook Tom Staar, and it teases perfectly the massive drop which features powerful kicks, heavy percussion, repeated synths and that all important Groove. The breakdown grabs most of the elements of the beginning of the track, but it carries on the epic vibes as only Tom Staar can.
