Martin Garrix confirmed a new collaboration , called “Summer Days” coming out next Thursday, between the American rapper, singer and songwriter Macklemore and the also American producer, songwriter and lead singer of the band Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump. 

The collaboration was already suspected, once, on Saturday, all of the artists shared on their social media the phrase “I got this feeling on a Summer day”, which is a part of the lyrics of the song, according to the teaser released on STMPD RCRDS’ YouTube channel.

All of the artists featured on the song have different musical genres: Macklemore has a more Hip-hop register, Patrick Stump and Fall Out Boy have a pop-punk register, while Martin Garrix is a Dance Music artist. 

Garrix is not new on collaborating with artists from different genres, once he has already teamed up with artists such as Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa, Khalid, Troye Sivan or Usher. Fall Out Boy have already teamed up with Steve Aoki on “Back to Earth”, Patrick Stump was part of Krewella’s song “Dancing with the Devil” and Macklemore was featured on the remix “Rio” with Netsky and Digital Farm Animals.

“Summer Days” is coming out next Thursday, April 25th, at 2PM CEST / 8 AM EDT, so we don’t have to wait much longer to hear what they have prepared for us.
