It is the first time both of them are collaborating and judging by “Outer Space”, it looks like Dimatik and Mr. Black should do it again.

Both Dimatik and Mr. Black shouldn’t be strangers to you if you’re a fan of the harder genres of dance music. They have both made a mark for themselves in the past few years, and look set to rise even further in the coming years.

Dimatik has been around the block. The Adelaide native was very influenced by Melbourne Bounce, and is one of the main artists responsible for fusing it with psy trance. With gigantic tracks like “Punjabi” with Timmy Trumpet, “Kangaskhan” with Tony Junior and “Dragonite” with Weaver (Dimatik really likes his Pokémon) , we hope Dimatik blesses our ears for years to come. We also had the incredible honor of having him as a guest on our Future Connection Radio show, which you can check out here.

His fellow collaborator on this effort, Mr. Black, has also made a name for himself. The Israeli artist has been on the dance music main landscape since 2014, with collaboration with JETFIRE “Boombox” marking his ascent to the metaphorical mainstage. Since then, his discography has been nothing short of impressive, releasing regularly on Revealed Recordings and collaborating with artists like KURA, WAO, and now Dimatik.

Their first track together, “Outer Space” is nothing short of awesome. It starts out with a few crowd vocals and a rising synth, which introduces us the sick drop. It doesn’t follow the usual psy-trance structure, but is very good nonetheless. The breakdown features some claps, a few ethic synths and vocals which give the whole track its huge festival anthem vibe. From then we go to the ear-thumping second drop, which brings a new synth with it and follows up nicely to the small outro. Overall, a very good track that is a must on your Spotify playlist.
