In a post made on social media during the weekend, Dancefloor – Jump to the drop announced this year’s edition of the festival, which will take place during the 26th and 27th of July. One of the biggest changes for this year is the venue – the event will now be hosted in Braga, on the Altice Forum, which can hold up to about 12000 people and that according to Dancefloor, will have better acoustics than last year’s venue.
Despite not having revealed any details beyond the dates and the move to Braga, the Dancefloor team has chosen to feature a Hardstyle track on their teaser video. Given this, and judging by their lineups from previous editions, it is a safe bet to say this up and coming genre will play a big role in this year’s lineup, which is usually quite varied and caters to audiences from a wide spectrum of electronic music sounds.
The new venue was received with mixed reactions online, with some praising both the choice of the city and venue, and with others questioning this major move. This was certainly a decision not taken lightly by the Team, so it will most certainly be one that will increase the overall experience for partygoers.
