Friday is going to be a special day. It marks the start of the weekend in the Amsterdam Dance Event. A weekend full of great parties, concerning all tastes, renowned DJs and personalities masterclassing and performing live. All of those to reinforce and strengthen this beloved industry of ours that goes by the name of Dance Music.
Let’s kick it off:

We start the journey with the 18-year-old DJ and producer Curbi. In the first place, by the local 13 o’clock, he will host a studio masterclass in the Studiobox Complex. Then, there’s Planet Curbi – Classified – a private party hosted by him and some friends at Q-Factory. Between his friends, Florian Picasso and Tony Junior stand out.

Also around 13 o’clock, the legendary Ferry Corsten will give the fans a live recording session in the Pioneer DJ Roome, with the DJSoundsShow quality seal. This small but emotional performance will not be just about music, but a narrative as well, featuring the likes of David H. Miller and Hollywood actor Campbell Scott telling a story.

By 16 o’clock, in the Gashouder, the superstar Paul Kalkbrenner comes back to ADE with a show called Back To The Future, under the Awakenings’ scope. This show is characterized by its nostalgia. Paul will delight the fans by playing some techno classics he grew up with.

Returning to Pioneer DJ Room, and also with DJSoundsShow’s quality seal, by half past four, the Swedish DJ and producer Jeremy Olander, disciple of Eric Prydz, is going to supply the presents a live recording special which will display his skills behind the decks.

Starting at eight o’clock, by the nightfall, in the Van Rijn Bar, two Portuguese artists will be on display, in a deep and soulfull house party named Inferno. They are Eric Faria and Jorge Araújo, who will perform together with some international DJs from the genre.

Later (10 PM), in the Hotel Arena, will take place the live 2017 edition of Fedde Le Grand’s Darklight Sessions, inside the hotel’s renewed chapel. With such a special stage set, Fedde Le Grand, EDX, Leroy Styles, and Watermät will be in charge.

Also starting at 10 PM, in the Warehouse Elementenstraat, the HYTE pres. FRRC party will occur. In a more underground atmosphere, techno will take over the arena with acts from known DJs in the scene, such as Seth Troxler and Ricardo Villalobos.

Continuing the 22 PM festivities, the dutch superstar Martin Garrix will be performing a concert in Amsterdam’s RAI. After last year’s successful performance in this arena, Martin came up with a cool innovation. Friday, the crowd will be composed with only +18 of age people, and Saturday, for all ages. Two sets in two nights for the 21-year-old DJ and producer, giving under-18 fans the chance to see the number one of the DJ Mag’s ranking.

Also with its beginning at 22 PM, there’s a big party with big names and expectations, with a Portuguese guy in the middle. It’s Young Gunz & TAPED, in The Butcher Social Club. Names like Tom Swoon, Thomas Newson, Dante Klein, Sick Individuals, Dubvision, Breathe Carolina, Blinders¸ Daddys Groove, Marnik, Merk & Kremont, Madison Mars, and the Portuguese KURA will be there, in a long-awaited festivity. Also in this party the fan will witness the birth of a new brand – Polish DJ and producer Tom Swoon’s TAPED.

Starting at 23 PM, we suggest 3 unmissable feasts. At the Gashouder, there’s another Awakenings ADE Special, with performances from the renowned dutch DJ and producer Joris Voorn and friends, more specifically Sven Väth and Kölsch.

At the legendary Escape Nightclub, the iconic Chuckie will host his own party. The master of the dirty dutch will have the company of his friends, such as Sidney Samson, Childsplay, and FLAVA.
