The 25th edition of the Billboard Music Awards brought together, this Sunday, several international music stars, in Las Vegas. Drake was the great winner of the night, with 13 Awards, but in the world of dance music, The Chainsmokers collected four awards.

The duo was nominated for 22 categories and won in Top Dance/Electronic Artist. With the successful ‘Closer’ feat. Halsey, the DJs were given the awards for Top Dance/Electronic Song, Top Collaboration and Top Hot 100 Song. The duo, composed of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, played on the stage of the ceremony, presented one of his latest themes, ‘Young’.

Since 2012 together, The Chainsmokers came to stardom after releasing the hit ‘#Selfie’. After several months and several singles released to the tops of the tables, such as ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, the duo released ‘Closer’, which hit records on the Billboard Hot 100 due to presence during seven months in ten songs most heard.
