Last Saturday Baauer producer of the hit “Harlem Shake” returns to Beats 1 radio for the second installment of his very own residency “Studio B”, but it wasn’t just “another” episode this one was special, this one was inspired in the Portuguese culture.

This didn’t just randomly happen, in fact Baauer is a Portuguese Citizen! Yes, that is right Baauer real name Harry Bauer Rodrigues was indeed born in Philadelphia to a Portuguese father therefor claiming Portuguese citizenship.

Regarding the show, Baauer started of his set with a track from the “Queen of Fado” Amalia Rodrigues, Fado is a Portuguese style of music born in the neighborhood of Alfama, Lisbon swiftly moving to playing “Kalemba (Wegue Wegue)” by Buraka Som System you can read more about them HERE!

The second and last hour was in the hands of the Portuguese DJ, DJ Nigga Fox from the “Principe Noite” with huge bangers of his own such as “Figga Fox” and “Quebas”.
