Last night another edition of the most celebrated sporting event come to a close, the olympic games closing ceremony counted with numerous surprises, fireworks, light, many happy athletes showcasing their medals and musical performances one stood out the most.

Kygo performed live his track “Carry Me” guest singer Julia Michaels at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Kygo had this to say before his performance “The opportunity to be a part of the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Rio is a huge milestone in my career and it will be the biggest performance of my life,” … “I’ve been a sports fan since forever, and to be able to combine this with my music and help to launch something like the Olympic Channel is a dream come true!”

Alongside his performance Kygo also partnered with the Olympic Committee to launch the “Olympic Channel”

“As one of the hottest music acts in the world, Kygo’s music speaks to new generations of Olympic fans,” said Mark Parkman, General Manager of the Olympic Channel. “His Closing Ceremony performance is sure to electrify viewers around the world on Sunday night as we prepare to launch the Olympic Channel.
