Those who act righteous always manage to get good “Karma” back. If they don’t, there’s no need to despair: Jay Dunham’s new release is precisely for you.
Multifaceted, unwavering and laser-focused can all be used to describe Jay Dunham. The Belgian DJ/Producer’s talent is undeniable, and he subjects himself to new experiences that take him even further beyond. Owner of an unique signature sound molded by his upbringing in the streets of Brussels, Jay Dunham is a one-of-a-kind blend of bass-heavy sonorities, maturing like fine wine with each new track.
Following a brilliant start in 2020, Jay Dunham didn’t waver for one second and capitalized on the best the scene had to offer: at the personal request of the man himself, Jay grabbed Malaa’s bass house hit OCB and fully reworked it into a mind-bending, booty-shaking remix. A collab quickly followed suit, as Jay teamed up with homies Mephi and ZAHIA to unleash Meditate onto the world, a hugely anticipated ID that spread the Dunham gospel to the ears of thousands through the hands of R3HAB, Mike Williams, DANNIC and Confession label boss Tchami.
With his latest effort – Badface feat. UnFit – still fresh, Jay Dunham is quick to follow in with new solo single Karma. Initially starting as a seemingly classic house anthem, Karma is rapidly flipped on its head, bringing out rampant bass lines, musky kicks and rambunctious percussion, masterfully combined with occasional piano chords, offering a well-placed breather from symphony of beats.
