Episode 33 is here, and with it comes the sounds of Bruno Pinto, better known as TYKHR! A humble, yet talented artist, he provided us with a diverse set with different levels of energy for everyone!

Here’s what he had to say to the usual questions:

How was your start as an artist?

I’ve been in contact with music and show business since a very young age because my grandfather, my uncle and now myself have a company of sound and image called Eventsom and I started to follow that path too. At the age of 13/14 I discovered Tomorrowland on YouTube, fell completely in love and started to understand that I could become a DJ/Producer and since that day I’ve been striving to achieve that.

Biggest inspirations?

My biggest inspiration is Swedish House Mafia, they were the first guys to make me feel that this really was what I wanted for my life, especially since I had the opportunity to watch them live in 2012. But of course I have others like Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, Third Party, Dubvision, Avicii, Alesso, Armin Van Burren, etc… and to be honest I try to grab inspiration from everyone.

What obstacles have you faced as an artist and how did you surpass them?

The biggest obstacles are definitely trying to make a name for yourself and start to really enter in the business, but for that I’ve just been trying to make more tracks, play more shows and improve my marketing skills (that are super important these days)!

TYKHR’s mix will keep you hooked with masterful transitions and a rich and eclectic track selection with classic anthems like Nari & Milani’s Atom, tracks from Julian Jordan, Dyro, Thomas Gold and even support for fellow portuguese coutrymen Slamtype and Ben Ambergen.
