For the first edition since our legendary 50th episode that saw performances from Gregor Salto and Graham Bell, we keep the fire going with the one and only Pessto!

We travel all the way to Serbia, with electro house DJ/Producer Predrag Stojkov, a.k.a as Pessto. This talented youngster is the next best thing to come out of the Balkans, and has tons of potential to yet be fulfilled. He first dipped his toes in the metaphorical dance music pool 6 years ago, with debut release Dimensions, which has since seen a massive wave of remixes and revamps.

From then, the next big move was Manasseh, a collab with Divolly & Markward that pleased Fedde Le Grand’s ears enough to be featured on his own Flamingo Recordings label. But it wasn’t until mid-2016 that Predrag found his home in DANNIC’s Fonk Recordings. Pessto’s stabby synths, groovy percussion and house-inspired kicks were perfect for such a label, and in July 2016, Pessto debuted on Fonk with Masego. From then, his progression was natural, making the most of the resources and platform that Fonk offers. Combined with Pessto’s innovative and diverse sound, he has since seen his name plastered on tracks like Bamo, Like That (on Protocol Recordings), All The Things with DANNIC, and personal favorite, Digiboom.

His latest efforts to make the rounds are an official remix for INNA’s Not My Baby and a collab with MountBlaq, with both featuring a more mature and melodic version of Pessto’s traditional energetic and tribal sound. A force to be reckoned with, it was with great pleasure that we hosted Pessto on the 51st edition of Future Connection. He starts off strong with Disclosure and Jax Jones, and ramps up the beats to the likes of Deniz Koyu, Tiesto and his own sounds in a masterfully seamless way, resulting in 60min of true aural bliss.
