The latest solo effort from the Australian DJ/Producer irradiates production quality and revolutionizes the concept of why less is more.
There’s a lot going for Bad Computer. A talented youngster with the maturity of a true veteran, Craig Ferrier – a.k.a Bad Computer – has already racked up the support of huge names like Martin Garrix, Dillon Francis and Wolfgang Gartner. Known for his rich house-based sound ripe with bright melodies and catchy dark synths have earned him a permanent residence on the iconic Monstercat. Among his incredibly impressive repertoire of releases, Silhouette, Disarray and 4Me stand out offering a perspective of Bad Computer’s eclectic gift.
With two releases this year so far under his belt, Bad Computer is back with 2U. Starting out with a couple of ambient pads, one is quickly transported to a different dimension before the beat drop awakens the listener and engulfs us in juicy basslines and dark, industrial synths. The breakdown grabs the “less is more“ motto, basing itself around simple yet powerful distorted piano chords, before transitioning to a climactic build-up that sees the return of Bad Computer’s intertwining layers of digital sound.
A unique track, Bad Computer’s 2U is out now!
