On the 26th of December we were in Liverpool at The EVENT Presents: P//RTS & Friends. A wonderful party with many great names on the line-up, including the portuguese artist Francisco Cunha.

It was our first time at Liverpool on Boxing Day and we were very well recived there. Following the typical weather in the UK, the party started with Mark Roma, a young local artist which has already the support from the duo Blasterjaxx! After his set it was time for Jay Hayton, another progressive house lover and young local artist. Following Jay Hayton it was time to TNY & LUQ to play. You may already heard this name before because they are already well known in the progressive house community around the world. In fact, Tiesto premiered two years ago on his radio show “Epiphany“, an epic progressive house track! Their set was amazing and they’re growing up in an amazing way, we wish them a briliant future in the EDM scene!

After TNY & LUQ it was time for the artist that was the main reason for our attendance at this event, the portuguese artist Francisco Cunha! Almost one year after the release of “For Life“, The EVENT crew decided to invite this young and briliant artist. His set was really something else, full of progressive house bangers and some epic mashups like “Breathe vs Ladi Dadi“, the remix of “All That Matters” from Kryder and many others! It was also his first international set!

To close the line-up it was up to P//RTS to play. He’s also a young DJ and producer and has already played at many huge events like Creamfields Steel Yard 2018 pre-party in event in London, Manchester’s iconic ‘The Venue’ club and Tomorrowland’s last edition with his first international set on the Sound of Tomorrow stage. His famous mashup “Without Penny” was played by Tiesto in the Tomorrowland main stage last year, which proves the huge potential that this young DJ has!

The bet by The EVENT crew on portuguese artists has been recurring, this time with Francisco Cunha and in the previous edition with Pete K. The vibes in this event were really something unique and those of you who were there will definitely remember this party forever. It was amazing to be in contact with people from other countries that have the same love for music as we do.

Reference must be made to Lewis Partington (P//RTS) and all The EVENT crew for receiving us with a special treatment and a lot of hospitality.
