Dance Music scene veteran Moguai is back with yet another one for the books, called “Commander” on Spinnin Deep.
One way or another, you’ve heard about Moguai. Real name André Tegeler, the Recklinghausen native has been around for 25 years, a career life span that not a lot of DJ’s can brag about. He became one of the very first German techno DJ’s, along with the likes of Sven Vath and Paul Van Dyk (more on the trance side of things), but these past few years Moguai has developed his sound into something that can only be described as wide-ranging: from progressive, to techno, to house, to even big room; Moguai presents himself almost like a “Jack-of-all-trades” of dance music.
His track record is a very impressive one, as is to be expected from someone with such a career: releases on Spinnin, Heldeep, Axtone, mau5trap, Universal, Ultra, Size, Cr2, and many more; worked with the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Timo Maas and Sugababes; over 100 million streams on Spotify… this man has done it all. Now, he graces us with a new gift called “Commander”.
Adequately released on Spinnin’s Deep imprint, the track starts out with a gritty and simple bassline, along with a very unassuming hook, our main companions for the rest of the track. The pure house vibes pump through the speakers all the way to your brain and heart, moving your body to the rhythm of the music! For sure, a track to add to your playlist, continuing the long-standing reign of Moguai!
