The king shows some more signs of life in new collab with Breda-native and Revealed Recordings hot prospect Suyano.

After announcing his hiatus from touring, Hardwell has led a very quiet life: following years and years of massive crowds and insane shows worldwide, the 2-time DJMAG nº1 DJ strayed away completely from social media, or even major public appearances. The only thing he left fans with was his sound, which is very much alive and well. The DJ/Producer still releases frequently on his Revealed Recordings label, with massive anthems like “Summer Air”, “Retrograde” and more recently “Left Right” still making the rounds.

Hardwell’s counterpart on this collab, Suyano, has been having a great 2019 also, releasing 3 beautiful tracks on Revealed. Since bursting onto the scene in 2012, Sjoerd IJpelaar has been showing people he’s more than a rising talent at this point: boasting releases on Wall Recordings, Spinnin and obviously Revealed, Suyano is one of the ones to keep an eye out. His unique shows in which he integrates the use of a drumpad coupled with the decks we’re used to seeing give him an edge over the competition. After collaborating with The King on “Light It Up”, he returns in a fitting collab called “Go To War”.

Starting out with an uprising and inspirational vocals, we’re soon introduced to guitar-like synths. The build-up is natural and very well made, conjugating the vocals perfectly with the rising snares, eventually climaxing in the massive big room (although with some progressive house references) drop. The breakdown grabs some 80’s-like synths and a quick pluck, coupled once again with the powerful vocal. Great effort by Hardwell and Suyano, sure to keep fans dancing while they yearn for The King’s return.
