Loved by a lot of people, Moguai continues to surprise fans of electronic music with another new hit, thus being unstoppable.
Certainly the name Moguai is no stranger to lovers of electronic music, it is a name that is related to one of the songs that has had the most impact on electronic music in the last decade, “Mammoth” in collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, by making it a real hit, topping multiple charts or “Aciiid” released by himself on Spinnin Records. In 2019 the German DJ and Producer had a great first semester with releases on Heldeep Records by Oliver Heldens and “Don’t Stop” ft Moe Mitchell. This time comes, and without wasting time, “Green Sally Up” released on Big Beat Records. A very energetic song using the vocals of a track released in the 60’s, becoming famous recently in Moby’s song “Flower”.
On the inspiration behind the track, Moguai commented:
“I loved the groove I created on ‘Sometimes’, which worked out pretty well, and I thought it would be a good idea to work on a new theme with a similar kind of rhythm. An old record came to my mind from around Love Parade 10 years ago, it was an old record from Kompakt which had a pluck sound you could modulate and make great build ups from, building up the atmosphere without using a snare fill, and luckily I found the sound and added it to the production. I had the ‘Sally Up’ vocal for a long time and I wasn’t sure whether to use it or if it was too obvious, but no one had used it in a dance sense, so I decided to go for it. The instrumental worked well on its own, but the vocal took it to another level.”
So Moguai continues his stable career turning to something with more Groove, but over the years he has maintained the support of several renowned DJs such as Calvin Harris, Diplo, Jax Jones, Kryder, Afrojack, Tiësto and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and talking about “Green Sally Up” it seems that it will take the same direction.
