Lux Frágil has announced, as usual, on its social networks, the international names that will accompany the resident DJs on the first weekend of October. The tenth month of the year begins with Phase Fatale and Somewhen on Disco on Thursday, October 3. On Friday, there will be the return of the duo Âme to Lisbon for another Citizen Lux night, after sharing the cabin with Terr on 25 January this year. Saturday is reserved for the return of the British Leon Vynehall to Portugal.

Phase Fatale, a Berlin-based American, will make his club debut. After passing by publishers such as Ostgut Ton or Hospital Productions, he has recently dedicated himself to his label BITE, where he released the EP Confess in collaboration with Silent Servant. In turn, Somewhen is preparing to prove that he is one of the new talents of the German techno scene and that his EP in the renowned Ostgut Ton was no mere beginner’s luck.

The highlight of the weekend goes to the duo Âme, composed by Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann. Producers since 2001, first partnered with the Dixon’s Innervisions, remaining on the label to this day. The acclaimed single “Rej” was the gateway to stardom in the German house scene, although you can’t reduce the style of the duo to the house: experimentally charged, ranging from deep house to minimal techno to anthems or remixes full of emotional vocals and tribal beats.

Finally, Leon Vynehall is the great guest on Saturday: a native of Pembury, has a record approaching house, deep house and downtempo. His first EP Music for the Uninvited was released in 2014 and received much critical admiration, as did his second EP Rojus in 2016. In June 2018, he released his first album, Nothing Is Still, coinciding with his entry on the independent label Ninja Tune.

As usual on these occasions, the collection will be made at the door of the disco, with no tickets for sale previously.
