SOLOTOKO label head, Sonny Fodera has finally released Rise. Since touring around his native Australia, the United States and beyond, he’s now releasing his fourth LP, Rise, which is definitely a storytelling album mixed with some club heaters, just in time for the festival season.

I had a great time listening his debut single The Moment with Lilly Ahlberg, that angelical voice, the buildup, and the bassy drop immediately made me feel into the club, and that is what Sonny was looking for with this album. Rise is inspired by his air travelling experiences, and how it worked as an inspiration in the studio right after, where he had spent three years to create this album.

Rise counts various collaborations such as with Kideko, Alex Mills, Janai, Josh Barry among many others, and it’s the product of three years in the studio. This album comes right after a great year when Calvin Harris Promises official remix went to the Beatport Tech House Top 10 and it still remains in 4th place in Calvin Harris top 10 tracks on Beatport.
