The Estonian DJ/Producer Madison Mars released a track entitled “Avalon”, on his usual home label of Spinnin Records.
You may not have heard of Madison Mars, but you’ve definitely heard at least one of his tracks/remixes. The DJ/Producer has been absolutely smashing it over the last couple of years, and experienced a fast rise, thanks in part to the astronomic boom of Future House as well as his own talent.
Estonian Madis Sillamo, better known to the world as Madison Mars, had his big break on Don Diablo’s Hexagon label, back in late 2015 with his releases “Theme O” and “Milky Way”. Since then, he has managed to climb steadily and move on to bigger things, releasing quality tracks left and right on labels such as Armada, Big Beat Records, Enhanced Recordings, Hexagon and Spinnin Records, being a regular on these last three.
On his Spotify page, his tracks have amassed more than 200 million plays, with tracks “Milky Way”, “Shuffle Shuttle” and “Atom” being the most played. 1001tracklist.com listed him on their signature Top 101 Producers pole, with Madison reaching #45 in 2017 and #49 in 2018. He now returns with a new single, which will hopefully help him be featured on the pole in 2019.
“Avalon” is a future house through and through. It starts out with dreamy plucks and a vocal sample, quickly followed by hi hats. The build up leads nicely to the definitely future house drop, with a quick and catchy melody that easily get stuck in one’s brain. The breakdown takes a slightly more melodic approach, with soothing basslines and quick riffs. Another very good track, that is sure to help Madison reach a higher position on 1001tracklists’s pole this year!
