During this week, the Lisbon’s club Lux Frágil has revealed the artists that will perform in the house in July, with another huge range of international respected and talented acts and some of the good material that Portugal has produced during the recent times.
As Lux has announced before, in the first week of the month will play the both Portuguese Rave Tuga and Tiga, and, at the Citizen Lux on 5th, it’s the time for the ravers to renew the residence visa with DJ Nobu and Valentino Mora.
In the second weekend of July, Lux hosts Justin Cudmore on 11th, James Murphy, the vocalist of the rock band LCD Soundsystem, on 12th, and Honey Soundsystem (a return to the club for the 5th time) with a back-to-back set with Fort Romeau, another well-known face at Lux (4th performance, after a set at Plano B in Porto), on 13th.
The Neopop’s concept Valsa de Viana is back on 18th with a super debut at the club: after several appearances in Portugal, such as at Gare Porto, Hard Club and Neopop, the British energy of Rebekah will take her talents in mixing and her powerful and obscure chords to Lux. On Friday 19th, it will be the time of sounds of summer and nature to go on stage, with the stylish Avalon Emerson, the main guest of Citizen Lux. This will be her third act at Lux, beyond two sets at Neopop, in 2017, and at NOS Primavera Sound, in 2018. In that night, Avalon will have the company of the Dutch Oceanic.
On 25th July, it’s the turn of the veteran Marcel Dettmann to burn the house with his pure and clapped-beat techno. The German has been a long and regular presence in Portugal, with performances at venues like Gare, Hard Club, Lux, LX Factory and Industria, and festivals like Boom, Neopop, Super Bock Super Rock, Festival Forte and NOS Primavera Sound.
As usual, the tickets can only be purchased at the door of the nightclub. The maximum capacity is 700 people.
