Yesterday, a collaboration between Steve Aoki, Showtek and MAKJ was announced. The track called “Rave”, which counts with the voice of the singer, rapper and songwriter Kris Kiss, is coming out next Friday, June 28th. On the announcement through social media, a part of the song can be heard.
In the EDM industry since 1996, Steve Aoki is one of the most popular DJs in the world, founder of the record label Dim Mak and has a long discography, which better known songs are “Boneless” with Chris Lake and Tujamo, “No Beef” with Afrojack and Miss Palmer or “Just Hold On” with Louis Tomlinson.
Showtek is a dutch duo formed by the siblings Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen. Renowned in the EDM scene, they have a long discography as well, with various top-charting songs such as “Believer” with Major Lazer, “Bad” with David Guetta and Vassy, “Booyah” featuring We Are Loud and Sonny Wilson among others.
Mackenzie Johnson, also known by his stage name MAKJ, has already perfomed at some of the biggest festivals worldwide just like Ultra Music Festival or Coachella. The DJ has also already teamed up with artists such as Timmy Trumpet and Andrew W.K. on “Party Till We Die”, with Hardwell on “Countdown” or with Steve Aoki as well as Deorro and Max Styler on “Shakalaka”.
