“Cut It Up” is the brand new song, featuring PKCZ, CL and Afrojack, which was released as well as its music video, yesterday, June 4th, on 88rising.
PKCZ is a Japanese hip-hop/dance group formed by Verbal, DJ Daruma and Makidai. It is not the first time PKCZ team up with Afrojack once the DJ has already produced their song “Play That” and is featured on another song, “Mighty Warriors”.
CL, whose real name is Lee Chae-rin, is a Korean singer, songwriter and rapper, who was a member of the group 2NE1, until it disbanded. CL has already teamed up with Diplo on “Doctor Pepper” and with Skrillex on “Dirty Vibe”.
Nick van de Wall, also known as Afrojack, is a dutch DJ and Producer, owner of the record label Wall Recordings and Grammy-winner, whose better known songs are “Turn Up the Speakers” with Martin Garrix, “Ten Feet Tall” featuring Wrabel, or “No Beef” with Steve Aoki and Miss Palmer.
The artists featured on “Cut It Up” are from different countries and the song is also performed in different languages – English, Japanese and Korean.
