The Resistance Tour is back in Ibiza for another summer season, the third on the White Island! In a short video ‘presented’ by a curious robot that immediately resembles Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, the organization released the names that will perform next summer: Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Eats Everything, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot, Richie Hawtin, Sasha & John Digweed repeat the presence of the previous year; while Charlotte de Witte, Hot Since 82, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Nic Fanciulli and Testpilot are the new ones.
The series of events will run for 9 weeks, from July 23 to September 17, every Thursday at Privilege Ibiza: winner of the Best Ibiza Night award at the DJ Awards 2018, it is the largest discotheque on the planet according to Guinness World Records, with capacity for about 10,000 people. It is known for its 25-meter-high main room that recalls the interior of a spaceship with its iconic dome and, of course, its house and techno parties.
After the debut on Ultra Australia, the return to Ultra South Africa and the confirmed presence at We Are FSTVL in London next May, not to mention the usual presence in Ultra Miami and Ultra Europe, Resistence shows no signs of slowdown. In Ibiza the organization expects a place where “ground-breaking production, pumping dancefloors and bone-rattling music” is going to be the rule.
More names will still be announced. The sale of the first tickets will start on April 16.
We return to the White Isle for what will be another historic summer, Tuesdays from 23.JUL – 17.SEP at @privilege_ibiza!
