After several collaborations, EPs and remixes, Paula Temple announced the release date of her long-awaited debut album of about a 15 years-career, titled Edge of Everything.
In a short message to the fans on Facebook, German DJ, remixer, producer and live-act scheduled the release of her first longest-running work for May 3 on her label Noise Manifesto (founded in 2015).
The album will be available in 2LP gatefold vinyl and digital formats. Parties and singles will be announced later. Paula also added that this one-year work represents a more personal conception of techno, and naturally hopes that her fans will enjoy the album as much as she enjoyed its elaboration.
Edge of Everything is a 12-track album that is meant to represent Temple’s entire career path, combining “murky acoustics and grainy synths [that] writhe through cavernous spaces while marching drums enforce unrelenting pressure” according to the press conference of the album’s release, which is in touch with its usual style of powerful, industrial and phantasmagorical techno, always in high voltage.
The vinyl edition will also include the original version of “Gegen”, probably the most famous track of Temple.
