The dutch DJ/Producer has finally released a brand new vocal masterpiece called “No Sleep”, as a follow-up to his previous collab “High on Life” with Bonn.
If you need me to tell you who Martin Garrix is, you can’t call yourself a dance music fan. The Dutch genius has accomplished so much and has risen to the very top of the dance music world, and he is only 22 years old! That’s mindboggling considering it seems like he’s been around forever.
Last July, Martin graced us with the perfect summer anthem: “High on Life”. The track was presented to the world epic style, with Martin bringing out Bonn on his Tomorrowland set to perform the track. From then on, the song exploded, playing on every radio station and achieving legendary status, mainly due to its acoustic nature, emotional lyrics and progressive house drop with a very catchy and passionate melody that ignited the hearts of Martin Garrix fans worldwide. Now, he looks to repeat the same recipe with his new single “No Sleep”, and by the looks of it, it’s going to be yet another hit.
The track starts out with a piano melody and Bonn’s stunning voice. Percussion is then added as the tearful lyrics unfold and evoke nostalgic feelings. A build-up is added, which climaxes in a smooth, violin-based drop. The breakdown repeats the same percussion and highlights Bonn’s incredible voice yet again, as we continue on to the second drop, repeating that touching and heart-warming violin melody.
It seems Martin has yet another explosive track on his hands, and we’re sure it won’t be long until it achieves cult status like its predecessor. Give it a listen in the link down below!
