“No Style” is the brand new song by the dutch duo Bassjackers in collaboration with the also dutch Apster, released yesterday, February 11th, on Spinnin Recordings.
Bassjackers – formed by Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst – have already collaborated with big artists from the dance music scene – such as KSHMR, R3hab or Showtek. Some of the duo’s better known songs are “Crackin”, “Savior” and “Fireflies”.
Apster – whose real name is Abdesamad Ben Abdelaouid – has also collaborated with renowned artists like Afrojack on “Drop That”, Firebeatz on “Ghostchild”, “Skandelous” and “Let’s Get Wild” or Nicky Romero on “Bootcamp”.
As for Bassjackers and Apster together, it is not the first time these artists team up. Actually, Bassjackers and Apster have collaborated several years ago on songs such as “Brougham” (2011), “Contour” (2011) and “Klambu” (2013).
“No Style” presents us an energetic and danceable rhythm with strong bass, and it also transmits a message to the listeners. During the song you can hear “Music for me was never just about which DJ played my song or which label was cool. It’s always been much more than that. Music is (…) make people fall in love, make people cry, it’s true emotion”.
