The award-winning Serbian festival EXIT (winner of the award for the best European festival of 2018 in the EU Festival Awards) revealed, through a video broadcast on social networks, some names for its Dance Arena stage, dedicated exclusively to house and techno.
From veteran Paul Kalkbrenner (2 hours-set) and Carl Cox (3 hours-set), to the debut of Dax J (the winner of the EXIT’s DJ Competition 2009) and the owner of the Terminal M label Monika Kruse, to the return of heavyweight Maceo Plex, to the Detroit’s virtuoso Jeff Mills, the ‘high tech minimal’ master Boris ‘Joker’ Brejcha, and new industry stars Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte and the sensation Peggy Gou. It’s a lineup that does justice to the various prizes awarded to this event.
Still on the Dance Arena stage will be the Serbian newcomers Runy and Coeus (already praised and accompanied by Tale of Us) and Ranchatek (who recently received the support of Carl Cox) as well as other national names and new talents waiting for their opportunity.
In addition to the Dance Arena, EXIT will feature other stages where will play acts like The Cure (a debut in Serbia), Sofi Tukker, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike or Greta Van Fleet.
This is the 18th edition of a festival that annually puts on the map the beach city of Novi Sad (which will be the European capital of culture in 2021).
This year will run from July 4-7, and tickets are available on the official website.
