Netherlands-born Ralph Felix remixed his own collab with Kev called “Holding on to You”. This remix comes after his original track amassed more than 300.000 plays on Spotify.

The rising talent came into the spotlight back in 2017, having released summer hit “The Heat (I Wanna Dance with Somebody)” – a collab with SDJM that amassed a massive 34 million plays on Spotify. Since then, Felix has released a couple of tracks and remixes, building up a steady fanbase in the process. In November, Ralph Felix collaborated with versatile Swedish vocal genius Kev for feel-good single “Holding on to You”, which was released under Martin Garrix’s STMPD Records label, which garnered considerable success. Now, the dutch newcomer returns with his take on his own track.

The track starts out with an upbeat beat, which transitions nicely to vocals from the original track. A build-up is added, which in turn climaxes in a drop with future house inspired beats and smooth synths. The breakdown is melodic and catchy, and the second drop has a certain euphoric and nostalgic feel to it. Overall, a track with simple production that certainly captures the listener’s attention.
