After one of his biggest years to date, Don Diablo starts off 2019 with a brand new remix and even though it flaunts the quality you can expect from a Don’s track, some fans were expecting something else.

In fact, after the 365 days rush from 2018, where the Hexagon master released 25 songs, including his album Future he is now back with a brand new remix for the iconic Panic! At The Disco’s major hit single High Hopes and it has everything you can think of when you hear a Don Diablo track. It includes future pianos, vocal chops forming a whole melody and that ‘feel good’ vibe you get on every Hexagon release. But how come there was another version?

He debuted this first version of the remix on his ‘biggest solo show’ yet – Future XL – and fans have been mumbling about why it hasn’t been released. It was a higher tempo song, with a happy trap beat added to it – similar to People Say.

Even though it seemed to work pretty fine on live shows, the group itself was not pleased with the final result and Don confirmed that this version would never see daylight and the final version of his remix was released today.

You can listen to the official remix now, available on all platforms.
