Here is “Bloodlines“, the new single from Hot Since 82, which will take part of the 8-track album that the British producer will release next March on Knee Deep In Sound label. This track goes after the release of “Buggin” last June, a markedly festive and summer track that garnered great feedback, and which will also take part of the album.
According to Daley Padley himself (who takes the alias Hot Since 82 since 2012), the option for an album instead of an EP, is due to the possibility of escaping the constraints that an EP involves, thus allowing a construction and exploration more creative and free.
“Bloodlines” is released next to another great summer season in which the artist has gone through houses such as Pacha Ibiza or The Shrine in Los Angeles, Labyrinth or Knee Deep In Sound theme parties, and festivals like Kappa Futur Festival, Circoloco, Creamfields and others.
In general terms, this is a track that stands out from other Hot Since 82 singles for the dense and heavy beat, yet retains the style and chords of tech house that characterize him. The vocals, with a rapturous female voice, compose a very well achieved contrast with a more underground bass. In addition, in this track, the claps, another DJ trademark, were left out.
