It was early September when we had news from Native Instruments, that they were launching a set of new products on the DJing market. Between this new products are the new versions of the Traktor S2 and Traktor S4 controller, a new version of Maschine Mikro, new Komplete products and a new Traktor Pro version, one of the most used DJing software nowadays.

Last Thursday, October 18th, Native Instruments has said that Traktor Pro 3 was from that day available for sale in their official website with two different prices, 99,00€ (complete version) or 49,00€ (upgrade). And the news start already here, this half-price upgrade is for every user that bought Traktor Pro 2, by doing this, NI keeps their users in the company and happy because they don’t have to pay a much bigger price for an update.

But the news ain’t over yet, with a new, much smother and renewed interface, keeping the Traktor’s classic layout, NI delivers a product with a clean design, updated and a lot of new features. With the new sound-engine Elastique 3 time-stretching engine, and new features like Reverse Track Playback, new MIDI mapping, new individual effects (very similar to Pioneer Sound Color FX), with Timecode already installed in the only and full version of Traktor Pro, ending with Traktor Scratch.

And what do you think of this change? Is it good, is it bad or is not going to change anything at all?
