The artist (now) known as Crime Zcene has released his “first” track, as park of Fonk Recordings’ 2018 ADE EP.
No need to worry if the name isn’t familiar to you. Although you might know his former alias, Jayden Jaxx…does it ring a bell now? The dutch DJ/Producer, whose real name is Daniel Jongsma, had his first claim to fame in the dance music world under the alias Jayden Jaxx, releasing tracks on Revealed Recordings, Pressplay Recordings, Enhanced Recordings and Dannic’s Fonk Recordings. These tracks were fairly successful, amassing almost 2 million Spotify plays among them, with “Voltage”, his collab with Maddix, being the most known track.
After a short time without any releases, Daniel played a show in his hometown under a new alias called Jay Shepha, but he didn’t release any songs. Now, with his third alias Crime Zcene, he promises more releases, as well as big plans for the future. For now, he returns to Fonk Recordings as a part of their 2018 ADE EP.
Crime Zcene’s new track, “Tribal”, starts out with with a build up, which is immediately followed by a mega funky drop, as is to be expected from a track released on Fonk. The breakdown features a vocal on top of a basic melody. The rest of the EP also features tracks from guys like Antoine Delvig, LoaX, Drop Department and the boss himself, Dannic.
