The Music Festival all headbangers and bass addicts dream of going, Lost Lands, has given the unfortunate confirmation that two attendees have passed away. The event hosted by Excision has earned its fair share of popularity worldwide, ending this year however on a more negative note.
The announcement made on their Facebook page writes,
“Today we send our deepest thoughts and condolences to the loved ones of two male attendees who passed away after being transported to local hospitals this weekend.”
Also “Our hearts are with their families and friends at this time,” was written in this same post, a way of apologizing to the ones affected by this.
Though the death causes are still unknown, overdose remains the most possible cause of death, and several other attendees were arrested as a follow-up, for drug trafficking and sale of illegal substances.
Rumors were fast to spread, claiming that several people died, a so far, false affirmation since only two were confirmed by the Licking County Coroner’s Office.
Even though this very unfortunate event happened, the festival should not be based on just that, with this year’s line-up was absolutely insane with some of the biggest names in the Bass Music Industry, gathering this way people from all over the country, continent and even world. Slander, Excision, NGHTMRE, Illenium, and Jauz are just a few of the names present in the enormous list that was at Lost Lands, so one can only imagine how unbelievable it was.
If existent, more information will be given on this post, but in the meantime, check out Shaquille O’Neal performing on this year’s Lost Lands!
