After presenting us an insane 3D show with Kraftwerk last year at NEOPOP Electronic Music Festival, Red Bull Music Academy is back to host two parties between 10th and 11th August.
Clark is headlining the first night (10th August) by performing live his recent album ‘Death Peak’. GPU Panic will also be there to start this journey with us. On the 11th August, we can count with a live performance from James Holden & The Animal Spirits and Surma. These concerts will take place at a very private place called Teatro Sá de Miranda in Viana do Castelo.
Clark launched Death Peak on Warp Recordings last year and it is said that his album contains the “most accessible and melodic dance floor tracks.”. GPU Panic a.k.a Tomé Ribeiro attended the 2016 October edition of the Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal, where he debuted the first single of this new project, “Tanger”, and where he also acted for the first time as GPU Panic alongside with Suzane Cianni, Veronica Vasicka and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.
The british producer James Holden started his journey onto the UK scene, when he was just 19 years old, with the exuberant teenage trance hit ‘Horizons’. He reinvented himself with the project The Animal Spirits, a live band that includes Tom Page (from RocketNumberNine), Etienne Jaumet (from Zombie Zombie), Marcus Hamblett, Liza Bec e Lascelle Gordon. The band has been described has “a jazz spiritual band that plays popular devotional music”. Surma, a portuguese rising star, will play alongside James Holden on 11th August.
Two incredible nights that you can’t miss. The doors will open at 8:30pm and the shows will start at 9pm. Tickets are on sale here.
