Being one of the greatest record labels of the dance music scene can really take you to some places! That was the case of Defected, that hosted an absolutely delightful event this past Thursday, namely a stream from the top of the iconic London’s Tower Bridge.

Celebrating 20 years of existence next month, and to promote the success of Camelphat and Eldebrook’s “Cola” as well, Defected hosted a live event in that location featuring two 45-minute sets of Camelphat and Sam Divine.

The mentioned song was one of the hotest releases of 2017, and went platinum and gold across multiple countries. It was also indicated to the Grammy Awards. However, and despite the success of the british duo (and Elderbrook), Defected signed them a new contract, meaning that Campelphat are not going to move to a more commercial music imprint.

Many feet above the Thames river, online listeners witnessed two very good sets. Not only the “more famous” duo performed in a great way, as Sam Divine, on the opposite tower, put up a very nostalgic act with Defected’s most remarkable releases. The stream’s video is available on Youtube for those who missed it.

Label founder and DJ Simon Dunmore said that the event also was organized to honor London. “We [Defected Records] can be a globally-pictured seal, but London will always be our home”, said Dunmore in an interview.
