The British producer Dimension is having one hell of a year so far, and now he just took it one step further with the release of the highly anticipated follow up to the world knowed track Whip Slap, that became an instant classic within the Drum and Bass scene.
Robert Etheridge aka Dimension has been killing it as off lately with some mad fire tunes that make everybody on the dancefloor bounce to the Bass. Creator of memorable DnB tunes such as “Black Church“, “Whip Slap“, “Rush” and “Automatik“, the british producer is on track to have yet another memorable year.
Last month he hosted in own party in the world famous Fabric London, in a night called FABRICLIVE 98, which marked the released of a 56 track compilation that showcases the best of what Drum and Bass as to offer in 2018 both on a mainstream and underground scenes.
And thats where this new track may be included, because it will mark the year. After the sucess of the original tune back in 2015, this new take on Whip Slap takes a more melodic approach to the tune, while still maintaining some of the original and iconic elements of the first version. It is a fresh approach to a classic track, a statement as to what a great DnB track should sound like in 2018, and in that sense this track is a beast.
What do you think about this new version, give it a listen and tell us.
