Calvin Harris makes his way back to the top with some fresh sounds, by releasing an unpredictable remix.
In fact, Adam Richard Wiles, also known as Calvin Harris, the artist behind some classic hits like We Found Love featuring Rihanna and Under Control with Alesso and Hurts, released his collaboration with Dua Lipa two weeks ago, that goes by the name of One Kiss, where the presence of Deep House elements is obvious.
Reinforcing this new side that aims clubs and dance halls, Adam released last Thursday his oficial remix for Halsey’s new track Alone. The singer is behind the vocals of some big hits like Closer by The Chainsmokers and her single Bad At Love.
In the remix it is possible to notice a new path for Calvin Harris’ sound, where he joins House drums and hi-hats to some classic instruments and leads with a strong bassline. By adding Halsey’s vocals, the track will certainly turn into an immediate club and even radio hit. With its powerful beat and an exciting build up, this will be a track that will take any listener on a journey through classics and through the times when House music ruled clubs and discos.
Is this the new route Calvin Harris wants to pursue or is he just testing new sounds and techniques?
