It’s still hard to believe that it happened. Following the death of Avicii, multiple people from the music industry paid their respects on Tim in both live performances and in social media. Jauz, however, stood out between the thousand condolences, as he revealed that one of his first productions was a remix for Tim Berg’s (one of Avicii’s pseudonyms) “Seek Bromance”.

The song is honestly nothing special because Jauz, real named Sam Vogel, was still perfecting his sound and starting to produce by that year, but in these days, and given the circumstances, we have very special material here, as a successful “modern day” bass house and dubstep artist revealed his fanaticism and love for Tim, an artist we, dance music fans, certainly appreciated at somepoint of our lives.

Here’s the statement by the American DJ and Producer regarding this issue:

This is one of the first songs I ever made when I started making music, and probably the first remix I ever did. It took a while of scouring the internet to find it again but I thought that with Tim’s passing it would be cool to share this as an homage to how much his music has influenced me for so many years.  I was thinking about re-making this but for now I thought it would be cool for producers who are just starting out to hear what “Jauz” sounded like in 2011, and maybe inspire them by showing that everyone starts off at ground zero and has to work their way to perfecting their craft.
