Tim Berling, age 28, to the Dance Music world known as Avicii was found dead today. The Swedish DJ was in Oman, the death has been confirmed by his press manager, however details are still unclear.

It is with deep regret that we announce the loss of Tim Berling, also known as Avicii,” the artist’s representative told the US media. “The family is devastated and we ask everyone to respect privacy in this difficult time. No more statements will be made,” Diana Baron said.

The Swedish DJ undoubtedly changed the industry, starting to produce at the age of 16 years old and touring at the early age of 18. Tim is responsibly for classics such as “Le7els“, “Wake Me Up!“, “The Days” or “You Make Me“, and “Bromance” as Tim Berling.

Avicii was a highly coveted artist which won dozens of awards for his productions, two years ago he announced an indefinite hiatus in his touring career. Quoting to Roling Stones Magazine “I need to understand my life.This was all about success just because of success.I was no longer feeling any happiness.“.
