A wonderful trio is going to join forces in an innovative way. The one and only Diplo, Australian superstar Sia, and British singer and songwriter Labrinth are going to collaborate in LSD: something yet inconcrete, as some say it’s just a track and some that it is the beginning of a supergroup.
Last month, Mad Decent’s boss teased this incoming project for the first time, with an Instagram post that turned the scene into a frenzy, due to the high star power in it, as it’s obvious.
However, and despite this post, it’s only now that the matter stepped into the spotlight, as The Sun leaked it all yesterday (April 15th). In the article, the British newspaper, through “a source” close to Labrinth, stated that “LSD“, obviously the initials of the three individuals, is not only a song or EP, but a supergroup that will release new material “later this month“.
Soon after Diplo’s “California” EP, the man is not stopping. Already in Major Lazer, Jack Ü (currently in hiatus, but still “together”), and running Mad Decent, he adds some LSD to his vast curriculum.
As to Sia and Labrinth, both haven’t mentioned the LSD project on their social media yet. The Aussie singer released “Flames“, her new song with David Guetta, 3 weeks ago, whilst the 29-year-old Labrinth has been “off the radar” since 2017, year in which he lauched his last single, “Misbehaving“, part of his upcoming solo album “Take Me to the Truth“.
