It’s not everyday that someone famous gets selected to be featured in the prestigious Madame Tussauds wax museum. This time, such honour is related with dance music directly, as the American icon Steve Aoki enters the game.
The 40-year-old DJ, producer and label owner, whose likes will be featured in another edition of Radio Nova Era’s EDP Beach Party, in June, will have a statue in Las Vegas’ subsidiary Madame Tussauds museum. The brand counts with 13 branches around the globe. In the Amsterdam one, for instance, Tiësto, Hardwell and Afrojack are already waxed.
In an interview to the local television, Aoki displayed his enthusiasm with the situation, saying that he “can’t wait” for the fans to create nice photographic moments by his side, behind the decks.
The museum is, on its Instagram (@tussaudsvegas), promoting a ticket contest for the inauguration taking place March 6th with the presence of the man himself, that will be performing a special 20-minute set to celebrate.
