Today, in the electronic music industry, many DJs/Producers create an alter ego for the purpose of producing different sounds and genres, having greater freedom and avoiding possible judgments and criticisms.

There are many good examples of secondary artistic names that are still active and have immense success, such as: Armin Van Buuren with Gaia (duo formed with Benno de Goeij), Ferry Corsten with Gouryella, Martin Garrix with Area21 (with Maejor), W&W with NWYR, Markus Schulz with Dakota, Sander Van Doorn with Purple Haze, Eric Prydz with Pryda, Cirez D and Tonja Holma, Arty with Alpha 9, among other cases.

The last DJ/Producer to join this list is KSHMR, a renowned American artist and number 12 in DJ Mag. Whoever closely follows the YouTube channel of Dharma Worldwide Music, label of KSHMR, should have already viewed the video with the name “The MVI – Save Me“. This video in addition to confirming that “The MVI” is KSHMR’s new alter ego, contains 2 minutes and 16 seconds of the first song of this project, titled “Save Me“, which should be released very soon.

We expect for more news and the first official releases of “The MVI”. KSHMR is a great producer and must maintain its quality despite being exploring something different!
