Electric Daisy Carnival is taking the long trip across the Pacific Ocean towards China.
In a press release published on its website, Insomniac Events, known for its colossal festival Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), originally from Las Vegas, follows on its promise to bring the event to Asia, with China being the destination, in 2018.
Insomniac’s CEO says:
“To bring EDC halfway around the world is a milestone for our entire Insomniac family” and “China marks EDC’s sixth international location, and I’m excited to connect and create beautiful new moments with the country’s passionate and ever-growing dance music community.”
EDC has already been, besides the United States, to Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Puerto Rico, the UK and India, next being China.
EDC China will debut in Shanghai’s International Music Park on April 29-30 with its famous majestic stages, including kineticTEMPLE, circuitGROUNDS, bassPOD and the Boombox Art Car.
Lineup is yet to be announced but tickets go on sale on February 4 here.
