Guetta was the headliner, but the Israeli duo Infected Mushroom and Swedish icon Steve Angello were also there. A great card that made a great rave, which mixed the magic of music with the historic atmosphere, in a very known site, in wish the Jews, kept under siege by the Roman army (200 b.C.), preferred to die in Masada then to surrender.

5 – Aly & Fila @ Great Pyramids of Giza – 11/09/2015

In September 2015, legendary trance duo Aly & Fila performed in their hometown of Cairo, Egypt, in front of thousands of fans. However, what made the set so special was its scenario: The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

It was a memorable set, next to the last standing ancient Wonder of the World, and took place to celebrate the 400th episode of their radio show, Future Sound Of Egypt. They were the first electronic act to have done that, following the likes of Sting and Andrea Bocelli. One hundred editions later, they have done it again in September 2017.

4 – Kölsch @ Eiffel Tower – 16/10/2017

The Danish Techno artist Kölsch took the dance scene to some incredible heights, as he performed at the iconic Eiffel Tower through Cercle, a livestream media concept that consists of acts in unusual places, like castles, churches, and towers, as it’s the case.

Just a few months past the release of his third studio album, “1989”, Kölsch, aka Rune RK, producer of the original dance music hit “Calabria”, showcased his melodic techno sounds to the world, with sights set in Paris.

In a 75-minute set, Kölsch got pretty epic, as he played Laurent Garnier’s “Acid Eiffel”, a 90’s techno classic.

3 – Lazare Hoche @ American Cathedral in Paris – 30/10/2017

Also, this year, and also under Cercle’s quality seal, we had another special event. This time, the protagonist was French techno sensation Lazare Hoche, and the stage was literally divine. Located in the famous Avenue George V, the American Cathedral of Paris hosted techno instead of prayers.

Hoche played some of his own productions from his label, LHR, and songs from another techno acts such as The Martinez Brothers, Stanny Abram and James Dexter. Nina Kraviz’s Трип (Russian for “trip”) label has a very peculiar imprint. The identity of it can be defined as authentic and organic, as its name relates with the parties of Nina and friends, who already threw raves in uncommon places such as an abandoned Hollywood Studio, a water tower, and some museums.

This rave was unique. 250 people got to see Kraviz’s concept in first hand, with a party in a remote cave in Iceland. The surprise element was the party’s biggest attraction, as fans entered a 3-hour bus “trip” from Reykjavik without knowing the destination and the line-up of the party whatsoever.

The line-up was quite impressive. Besides Nina, artists like Nikita Zabelin, Skeng, K-Hand, and Icelandic DJs Exos and Bjorki, signed to the label as well, made the cave rave, in a place never used for musical purposes before.
