Approximately 1 month ago, Dillon Francis announced that a brand new album was in the works.
A promise remains a promise and he did not fail to deliver when 2 days ago the North American artist released Ven, the first track from his upcoming album, and it features Puerto Rican songwriter Arcangel and Dominican Rapper Quimico Ultra Mega.
Over the course of last year, Francis has been traveling the world to find the best fits for his sophomore LP. He posted this regarding this first release of 2018:
“For the last 18 months I’ve been spending most of my time between shows at the studio. My goal was to have fun, inspire myself, and make something amazing, so when I got time in the studio I focused on making moombahton records. I asked Toy Selectah to help me source some vocals and we got into an amazing rhythm and I kept writing songs. We went to NY, Miami, Dominican Republic and Mexico City to work and it was some of the most incredible experiences ever. So, here’s the first song off my upcoming album…”
About the track itself, it features heavy hip-hop influences with the artist very often used Hispanic sounds to create a 108-bpm stunning track.
Last year Dillon parted ways with Columbia Records and that gave wings to the artist’s creative mind as he has been incredible since then
We can’t wait to hear the rest of this upcoming Album!
