The Wynn Las Vegas luxury resort and casino aims to move away from the exaggeration of comercial Dance Music as it recently announced as “tech house residences” of 2018 with Solomun, Jamie Jones and Black Coffee.
The managing partner of Wynn Nightlife, Alex Cordova, expressed enthusiasm of artists seeking as underground sounds, which has been gaining momentum in recent years:
“These first residency will showcase three of the biggest names in the genre: tech house continues to grow in the United States and outside, and we look forward to bringing and expanding that style of music into our programming.”
A choice of these names and supported in the parties Solomun + 1 were a huge success in Ibiza, long ago. Jamie Jones is one of the top underground-style DJs since the mid-2000s, and his Hot Creations label elevates music to another level. Black coffee helping to place South Africa in the map and with a huge career growth last year he was nominated as one of the artists who dominated in 2017.
The casino and hotel group have not given up on the comercial Dance Music. They will join the current residents of The Chainsmokers, Afrojack and Diplo for an upcoming 2018 season.
